Reporting of Animal Welfare Concerns and/or Animal Care and Treatment Deficiencies

Any concern about the welfare of animals on the UIUC campus can be confidentially reported to the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research (333-0034), the Attending Veterinarian for Laboratory Animals (333-2564), the Attending Veterinarian for Agricultural Animals (265-6790), any IACUC member, any DAR veterinarian, or the appropriate AACUP species veterinarian. Concerns will be brought to the IACUC chair, who will appoint appropriate IACUC members to investigate. The IACUC will report the findings and recommendations to the Institutional Official.
